Characteristics

• Primary use: hood plenums, stainless cooktops, non-aluminium gear removed to wash pad
• Chemistry: terpene solvent blend with emulsifiers; usually finished pH milder than straight caustic yet still flammable
• Format: 10 L jerry with flame pictogram
• Dilution: ready-to-use to 1:1 for soft cloth work; hotter ambient reduces viscosity—track ventilation
• Foam: manageable; workable in parts sinks with lip extraction
• Safety: cartridge respirators for organic vapour in booths; SDS GS-734
• Environmental note: VOC reporting higher than aqueous alkaline yet sometimes favoured for wastewater pH moderation teaching cases
